Current Image and Desired Image of RMUTP Graduates

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study and compare viewpoints of employers regarding current image and desired image of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon graduates. Survey research methodology was exploited by distributing questionnaires to sample group of 247 employers. Thereafter, data was analyzed by t-test at statistically significant level of 0.05 for hypothesis testing. The results were as follows: graduates had current image at a high level. Graduates with good mental health, as well as cheerful and happy graduates had the highest mean value while graduates with foreign language knowledge and ability had the lowest mean value. The result also showed that desired image of graduates were high. Good moral and ethic graduates had the highest mean value whereas graduates with foreign language knowledge and ability had the lowest mean value. By comparing current image to desired image, the study found that all images were significantly different at the level of 0.05, except good mental health, cheerful and happy graduates.
